Car Credit: Contract Purchase is the perfect option for those people wanting to purchase a vehicle without having to worry about the risk of depreciation. A fixed monthly payment for an agreed period of time is put in place, which is based upon your anticipated mileage.
In terms of vehicle maintenance, this can sometimes be included as an additional option. Once the contract comes to an end, a predetermined final payment is paid to purchase the vehicle or, the other option being to return it to the car credit company. A typical contract purchase will consist of a 12-60 month contract, which will include mileage restrictions, road tax and breakdown cover and also the option to purchase the vehicle once the contract comes to an end. Vat would be payable only on the service elements of the contract.
