In terms of vehicle maintenance, this can sometimes be included as an additional option. Once the contract comes to an end, a predetermined final payment is paid to purchase the vehicle or, the other option being to return it to the car credit company. A typical contract purchase will consist of a 12-60 month contract, which will include mileage restrictions, road tax and breakdown cover and also the option to purchase the vehicle once the contract comes to an end.
